Sorat Hotel Humboldt-Muhle is a modern hotel housed within a restored grain mill on the shores of Lake Tegel, 12 kilometres from Berlin city centre. The seven-floor building features 120 air-conditioned guestrooms, all of which include cable televisions with pay movies, direct- dial phones, minibars, free Internet connections and complimentary newspapers. Guestrooms are decorated with light walls and grey wood furniture and overlook the green courtyard with views of the lake or forest.
The hotel offers a limo/town car service for those wishing to explore the city, and has a motor yacht which can be chartered for trips around the lake. There are plenty of walks and water sports to be found around the lake including sailing, swimming and waterskiing. Steamship cruises depart for Berlin and Potsdam from the Greenwich Promenade, which is one kilometre from the hotel. Borsig with its shops and restaurants is 1.5 kilometres away and the attractions of central Berlin are 12 kilometres away. Berlin Tegel airport is six kilometres from the hotel and takes around 10 minutes by car.

DRIVING DIRECTIONS
From Berlin-Tegel Airport:
Take Stadt-Autobahn/city motorway A111 towards Hamburg.
Take Exit 'Waidmannsluster Damm', turn left.
Proceed pass the intersection approx 80 meters.
The hotel is located on the left hand side.
Taxis are readily available outside the terminal and fares to the hotel cost around 15 Euros. An airport shuttle service is also arranged by the hotel (surcharge). There is an Airport bus connecting to the underground system and the nearest underground station is Alt-Tegel, 8 miles from the hotel.
