Built in 1929, the Savoy Berlin is a modern, cosmopolitan hotel located in the center of Berlin, 200 meters from Kurfürstendamm and 500 meters from the Zoologischer Garten. The 125 guestrooms are individually designed and feature light décor with wood furnishing. All include wireless Internet access, minibars, televisions with cable channels, telephones and hair dryers.

Nearby attractions include the Memorial Church, Zoological Gardens and Tiergarten (recreational area), all within 500 meters. Charlottenburg Castle and the Congress Center are three kilometers away and the Brandenburg Gate and Potsdamer Platz are at a 4 kilometer distance. The nearest airport to the hotel is Berlin-Tegel Airport which is seven kilometers away, at an approximate journey time of 15 minutes. Taxis are readily available outside the terminal and the fare to the hotel should be approximately 15 EUR. An airport bus is available that connects to the underground system and there is also a jet express airport shuttle serving central Berlin. A standard bus service also runs from the airport and the best bus for the hotel is the 109. Passengers should alight at Uhlandstrasse.

DRIVING DIRECTIONS
Driving from the airport to the hotel, take the City Autobahn A 100 in the direction of ICC/Messeglande/Funkturm. Exit at Kurfurstendamm and follow this road in the direction of the zoo until reaching Uhlandstrasse. Turn left onto Uhlandstrasse, continue straight and then turn right into Hardenbergstrasse. Turn right again into Fasanenstrasse and the hotel is 100 meters up on the right hand side.
