The NH Berlin-Mitte is a large modern hotel, situated in the commercial and government district of the former East Berlin, just two blocks from Checkpoint Charlie. The 392 guestrooms are decorated in a contemporary style in neutral colours accented with warm reds and oranges, with light wood furniture and leather armchairs in each room. All offer high-speed Internet connections, wireless Internet access, and Internet access via wireless keyboards through televisions (surcharges for all Internet access). DRIVING DIRECTIONS
Taxis are readily available outside the terminal and the cost should be approximately 17 Euros. Guests cab take the TXL Express Bus to Französische Strasse and then one station by Metro U6 to Stadtmitte, one block from the hotel.
From Berlin-Tegel Airport, depart airport to Hwy 111 and follow signs to Berlin-Zentrum. Merge onto Hwy 100 and take Kaiserdamm exit toward Kaiserdamm. Proceed east on Bismarckstrasse. Take half- circle around Ernst-Reuter-Platz and continue east on Strasse des 17, Juni to Brandenburg Gate (Brandenburger Tor). Turn right onto Ebert Strasse and then immediately turn left onto Behrenstrasse. Turn right at first intersection onto Wilhelmstrasse. Proceed approximately 600 metres and turn left onto Leipziger Strasse. The hotel is on the right just past the first intersection.
