Marble floors, stucco ceilings and wrought ironwork all feature at the grand, five storey Golden Tulip Residenz Hotel, which occupies an original Art Nouveau building, 200 metres from Kurfurstendamm in central Berlin. DRIVING DIRECTIONS
Taxis are readily available outside the terminal. An airport bus is available that connects to the underground system. Bus X9 runs between the airport and the vicinity of the hotel. There is also a jet express airport shuttle serving central Berlin. Berlin's integrated public transport system (the BVG) is the best way to get about. One ticket allows travel on all trains, trams, buses and ferries. From the airport follow the signs to Stadtring Wilmersdorf or Stadtring Charlottenburg and exit at Kurfurstendamm. Follow Kurfurstendamm and turn right down Heinekestrasse. The hotel is located 300 metres before the Memorial Church.
