The City Residence is a modern high-rise apartment block situated in the Charlottenburg district of west Berlin, two kilometres from the zoo. The residence has 45 apartments, decorated in yellows, greens and oranges with wood flooring; all have kitchenettes with cookware, coffee/tea makers and refrigerators. Other amenities include CD players, cable television, direct-dial phones, and work desks with Internet connections.
Guests will find a shop on site or may choose to visit the shops and restaurants on the Kurfurstendamm 800 metres away. There is a parking garage nearby (surcharge) for guests with their own vehicles and the airport shuttle stop is opposite the hotel. Sightseers will find a number of attractions nearby, with the Museum of Photography, the Egyptian Museum, the Kaiser Wilhelm Memorial Church, and the Deutsche Opera, all within two kilometres of the residence. For a family day out the Berlin Zoo is also two kilometres away, while the green expanse of the Tiergarten is three kilometres from the hotel. Berlin-Tegel Airport (TXL) is five kilometres from the hotel.
